Inversion based imaging method has greatly improved the migration quality, especially on the complex formations. For an example, the salt boundaries in Bp 2004 model have been clearly delineated through the inversion method, as shown in above figures. Meanwhile, SwRtm can output impedance and velocity perturbation as well.
